| Today, Sub-health is a common problem in our society, and affects people's physical and mental health. According to the city's survey of 16 million population found that the incident rate was 75.31% in Beijing,73.49% in Shanghai,73.41% in Guangzhou. The prevalence in China has more than 700 million people, Sub-health patients in high-income group are more than Europe and the United States, the harm has been the number one enemy of human health parallel with the AIDS in the 21st century in the medical field. Because sub-health patients can not find the clear cause, it is a great blind in clinical medicine, or placebo medication, or "big range" treatment. Patients have taken large quantities of various drugs without actually significant, not only the disease can not be controlled effectively, but rather suffered the damage of side effects because of abusing drugs, and even they suffered the damage of life-long irreversible, which is usual in the clinical.Eight Methods of Intelligent Turtle Tuina is non-drug therapy, it is a treatment of selecting points and meridians (similar Time Medicine). The main contents are the eight extra meridians, Bamai eight points, nine palaces gossip and Heavenly Stems Earthly Branches, it is combined with human's Qi and blood of the eight extra meridians and attending functions of points. According to the changes at Time of Day of the deduction, it is a method of selecting time by the principles of addition and division. Therefore, it has great practical value that finishing the Eight Methods of Intelligent Turtle Tuina. It can reduce side effects caused by blind medication because of uncertainty cause of sub-health.Objectives Through this research, we observed the changes of sub-health patients'IgA and rheology through the Eight Methods of Intelligent Turtle Tuina treatment before and after. It can provide experimental basis and the lay foundation for clinical treatment.MethodsWe chose 150 cases of sub-health patients, who met the requirements of our study design, the patients were randomly divided into three different groups. Experimental group was treated with Eight Methods of Intelligent Turtle Tuina, the placebo group was treated with the control practices, Chinese medicine group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine treatment. Then we collected the experimental data of IgA and blood rheology before and after, and created the database. All data in the computer was used SPSS13.0 for data input, management and statistics, one-way ANOVA for group comparison, Chi-square test for categorical variable data, rank sum test for the numerical variable data of the nonnormal distribution。ResultsThere were no significant differences in mean age, gender, the duration of illness between three groups(P>0.05). There was a significant difference of the IgA, high shear whole blood viscosity, whole blood viscosity and plasma viscosity before and after in the experimental group and TCM group (P<0.05), and there was no significant difference in the placebo group (P>0.05). After treatment, compared with the changes of the IgA, high shear whole blood viscosity, whole blood viscosity and plasma viscosity in the three groups, there was a significant difference (P<0.05), in which the result in experimental group and TCM group were superior to that in placebo group, and there was no significant difference between experimental group and TCM group(P>0.05).ConclusionsEight Methods of Intelligent Turtle Tuina can enhance the function of immunity and improve the conditions of blood rheology. It is a good means, which should be widely applied and deeply studied.
