Abstract/Summary:
Objective: To explore the therapeutic effect, mechanism and safety of Qingrehuashi recipe in treating chronic superficial gastritis with erosion pertaining to spleen-stomach damp-heat syndrome. Methods: 60 cases of chronic superficial gastritis with erosion were divided into two groups randomly. The treatment group and control group, both containing 30 cases, were treated with Qingrehuashi recipe and Qingweizhitong granule orally for 8 weeks, respectively. The clinical,gastroscopy and pathological effects and Hp infection were observed before and after the course. Results: Both total effective rate and curative rate in the treatment group were superior to those in control group (93.33% and 43.33% vs 76.67% and 23.32%, P<0.05). Conclusion: Qingre huashi recipe is effective and safe in intreating chronic superficial gastritis with erosion pertaining to spleen-stomach damp-heat syndrome. The mechanism might be related to anti-inflammation, anti-oxidative sterss, eradicating Hp and promoting gastric motility and enhancing gastric mucosal barrier.
