Objective: To investigate the relationship between the Heat-shock Proteins 60 (HSP60), Heat-shock Proteins 70 (HSP70), Proliferative Cell Nuclear Antigen(PCNA) in chronic superficial gastritis patients with spleen-stomach damp-heat syndromes.Method: 67 chronic superficial gastritis patients were selected as research subjects. According to the differentiation standards of chronic superficial gastritis of TCM, 32 cases coincided to spleen-stomach damp-heat (SSDH) group, 35 cases coincided to spleen-stomach qi-deficiency (SSQD) group, and 21 healthy persons as control group. Antral mucosal biopsies were obtained during endoscopy in these patients. Rapid urease tests and 13C urease breath tests were used for detection of the H. pylori. The specimens of gastric antral mucosa were obtained for pathological diagnosis and immunohistochemical technique (HSP60, HSP70 and PCNA). The correlations between every group and above index signs were analyzed.Results:1. H. pylori infection ratio was no obvious difference between the SSDH group and the SSQD group (P>0. 05) . The severity of chronic inflammation in SSDH group was higher than that in SSQD group(P<0. 01). The ratio of active inflammation in the SSDH group were more higher than in the SSQD group (P<0.05).2. The expression of HSP60 in chronic superficial gastritis patients with SSDH...
