The Clinical Observation On Therapeutic Effect Of Regulating Spirit To Relieve Depression Acupuncture Therapy Of Depression (Stagnancy Of Liver QI)

Objective To observe the effect of acupuncture therapy of Regulating spirit to Relieve depression compared with other treatments. Methods We randomly group the 70 cases of depression (Stagnancy of Liver Qi) into the group of Regulating spirit to Relieve depression (30 cases),traditional acupuncture therapy control(20 cases)and western medicine control(20 cases),and assess the three inventories,namely HASD, TCM Syndrome,before and after treatment,and side effect. The results are analysed with statistical methods. Results The acupuncture therapy of Regulating spirit to Relieve depression treats 30 cases of melancholia,25 cases are cured,4 cases have effect.The total effective rate is 96.67%,traditional acupuncture therapy control and westen medicine control respectively show a total effective rate of 70.00% and 65.00%.The scores of HAMD and TCM Syndrome in the group of Regulating spirit to Relieve depression show significant reduction after treatment in comparison to before treatment(P<0.01), compared with traditional acupuncture therapy control,the difference is significant(P<0.05),and it is also significant compared with western medicine control(P<0.05). Conclusion 1. The acupuncture therapy of Regulating spirit to Relieve depression has good therapeutic effect on depression and it is superior to traditional acupuncture therapy and western medicine.2.The acupuncture therapy of Regulating spirit to Relieve depression can improve TCM Syndromes,such as mental depression,emotional restless,distending pain over hypochondrium,stuffiness and oppression in epigastrium,deep sigh,etc,and it is better than traditional acupuncture therapy and western medicine.3.The acupuncture therapy is free of side effects...
