Objective: Retrospective analysis of our department radial head fracture treatment effect of the radial head of the treatment strategy to how to scientifically choice of treatment, improved patient outcomes, so that suffering elbow for maximum function to provide objective scientific evidence and clinical Treatment of reference.Meterials and Methods: Select the period 2008-2010 in our hospital in patients with radial head fractures in 31 cases, Mason I in 4 cases, Masonâ…¡18 cases, Masonâ…¢in 5 cases, Masonâ…£type 4 cases. All patients received an average of 13 months of follow-up, according to HHS elbow scoring the final follow-up results were evaluated, 31 patients in accordance with the results of discharge and final follow-up results, conservative treatment and prognosis of surgical treatment of radial head excision and Radial head replacement with the prognosis of patients, respectively, on the grouping, the prognosis of the acceptable rate of each group were analyzed.Results: Obtained after treatment in each group were followed up for 4 to 20 months, with an average of 13 months. The final follow-up, 31 patients of the situation: excellent in 7 cases, good in 10 cases, 9 cases and poor in 5 cases. HHS is averaging 83 points. Overall acceptability rate was 83.8%. Discharge of the acceptance rate was 90.3%, the final follow-up results of an acceptable 83.8% (p <0.05); the conservative treatment group was 100% accepted, the acceptable rate of surgical treatment group 85.2% (p <0.05 ); radial head resection of the acceptable rate was 33.3%, radial head replacement acceptable rate of 75% (p <0.05).Conclusions: Through this review of 31 cases of summary and access to relevant literature, the paper can draw the following conclusions: 1, radial head fractures should be based on type, taking into account also the ligaments and fractures around the elbow soft tissue injury. 2, Masonâ… type, Masonâ…¡fracture were used to conservative treatment and open reduction and internal fixation can be achieved quite satisfactory results. 3, Masonâ…¢fracture reconstruction of elbow anatomy should be to restore elbow stability. If you can not rebuild, if not combined ligament and other damage possible simple radial head excision; if combined ligament injury, you must repair the ligament, or with artificial radial head replacement, Masonâ…¢fracture treatment of choice for open reduction and internal fixation, such as internal fixation is not the best line of the radial head replacement, such as economic conditions were not feasible radial head resection. 4, MasonIV due fractures radial head replacement line to restore elbow stability. If you can not rebuild, so if there is no ligament damage possible merger simple radial head excision; but most MasonIV type fracture medial collateral ligament injury, ligament damage any ligaments must be repaired or row radial head replacement.
