| Objective:Masonâ…¢and Masonâ…£type radial head fracture which can not be reconstruction,the use of artificial radial head arthroplasty or radial head resection,the clinical is still controversial. Through the study of Masonâ…¢and Masonâ…£type radial head fracture which be treated by artificial radial head arthroplasty or radial head resection with pain before and after treatment improved functional recovery of elbow and complications observed in clinical treatment,in order to provide reference for treatment choice of such fractures.Methods:A retrospective analysis of the radial head Masonâ…¢fractures were 14 cases, Masonâ…£type of fracture in 6 cases, respectively radial head prosthesis (9 cases) and radial head resection (11cases) were observed 24 weeks, after surgery 14 days, the first 1,3,6 months, the use of VAS score for pain score, Broberg and Morrey elbow score to evaluate the elbow function.Results:Masonâ…¢orâ…£type of radial head fracture radial head prosthesis replacement and radial head resection of the clinical efficacy results showed that:â‘ Pain relief, VAS pain scores after 14 days prosthetic replacement group is better than the resection group (P<0.05),but 14 days later no significant difference in pain relief.â‘¡Elbow function, including elbow flexion, pronation and supination function, until 14 days after the first 6 months, the replacement group were significantly better than the resection group (P<0.05).â‘¢Postoperative complications, the replacement group is less than the resection group.Conclusion:Both the radial head prosthesis replacement and radial head resection treated Masonâ…¢orâ…£radial head fractures can effectively relieve the pain,improve the function of the elbow,the patient basically live independently.But the radial head prosthesis replacement in the early pain relief,functional recovery is superior to the radial head resection,and can effectively reduce the incidence of complications. |
