Comparison Of The Therapy Of Artificial Tear Mytear And Local Glucocorticoid Between SS-ATD And NSS-ATD

[Purpose 1 To carry on study of the comparison of the clinical characteristics and the effectiveness of artificial tear mytear added by local glucocorticoids between aqueous tear deficiency associated with sjogren's syndrome(SS-ATD) and aqueous tear deficiency not associated with sjogren's syndrome(NSS-ATD).【Methods】To test the patients about dry eye in the rheumatism/immunity department and the ophthalmological otpatient of the first subsidiary hospital of Guangxi Medical University, patients who fit the diagnostic standard of SS are put into the SS group and others are put into the non-SS group. Patients of the two groups are both gived 0.1% sodium hyaluronate eye drops and tobramycin and dexamethasone eye drops(both four times a day). Test the ocular surface disease index(OSDI), Schirmer testⅠ(SⅠT), tear break-up time(BUT) and fluorescein stain score(FL) respectively before the therapy, one week and one month after the therapy. And make some related statistics analysis. [Results] 1. Four indexes of both the SS group and the non-SS group are improved after the therapy (P<0.05); 2. The difference of OSDI between the SS group and the non-SS group before the therapy has statistical significance (P<0.05), the SS group's OSDI is higher than the non-SS group's. And the differences of BUT and SⅠT between the two groups don't have statistical significance.3. After the therapy of artificial tear my tear added by glucocorticoid eye drops, the difference between effectiveness in the SS group and in the non-SS group has statistical significance (X2=7.219, P<0.05).【Conclusion】The effectiveness of the therapy of artificial tear mytear added by glucocorticoid eye drops is better in the non-SS group than in the SS group; SS-ATD's inflammation is probably harder to control than NSS-ATD's under the therapy of artificial tear mytear added by glucocorticoid eye drops.
