Clicinal Research On Immunologic Reconstitution Of XIANG A2 Pulveres To AIDS

XIANG A2 Pulveres was developed by professor wangjunwen and the panel treating AIDS by TCM in HUNAN. Summarizing 3 years'clinic experiences of the panel,it's protective effect in treating AIDS patients and HIV asymptomatic carrier.Objective:To evaluate the clinical effect and security of XIANG A2 PULVERES on immunologic reconstitution to AIDS patients,offer objective and forcible clinical evidence for the clinical application of XIANG A2 PULVERES.Methods:By randomized, double-blind, Placebo-controlled study,50 AIDS diagnosed Patients of pattern of liver depression and qi stagna were observed for 6 months.Two groups (XIANG A2 PULVERES and Placebo-controlled)were all combined with HAART.Tested all the Patients'immune function virusload,security index,quality of life and wrote down the symptoms at baseline,third month and sixth month,Analyzed the integritied data of 50 cases by software SPSS 16.0 edition.Result:48 case were finished.1 The effect on symptoms and signs of XIANG A2 PULVERES immunologic reconstitution to AIDS patients.The main symptoms and signs were reduced after 6 month treatment of XIANG A2 PULVERES, epecially vomit,anorexia,insomnia,abdominal distention,bellyache;symptoms and signs.The difference after therapy is P<0.05 and is thinked in statistics.2 The effect of XIANG A2 PULVERES on the immune function of AIDS patients.After treated by XIANG A2 PULVERES and HAART, there is a obviously better result about lymphocyte(CD4+ T-cell count) rising in the observation group (XIANG A2 PULVERES combined with HAART)than in the control group(Place-bo combined with HAART). The difference after therapy is P>0.05 and is thinked in statistics.3 The effect of XIANG A2 PULVERES on viral loads of AIDS patients.Detect viral load,compared with pretherapy,Viral load decreased obviously in two groups. The difference of the total ratio between two groups is P>0.05 and is thinked in statistics.4 The effect of XIANG A2 PULVERES on survival quality of life of immunologic reconstitution AIDS patients.there is a better quality of life in the observation group (XIANG A PULVERES combined with HAART)than in the control group(Place-bo combined with HAART). The difference after therapy is P<0.05 and is thinked in statistics.5 the clinical security of XIANG A2 PULVERESThe result of safety index between two groups show that there has no difference about damage of liver and kidney,no impact on blood,urine and stool, ECG and perspective in clinical.Conclusions:XIANG A2 PULVERES can relieve the appearance of the correlated symptoms and signs of the immunologic reconstitution to AIDS patients,improve their survival quality of life, stabilize immune function.it is used safely in clinical existent cases during observation time.
