Observation Of The Clinical Efficacy Of Treating Senile Constipation With Needle Warming Therapy

Objective:Evaluate objectively the clincical efficacy of treating senile constipation with needle warming therapy by RCT.The needle warming therapy treatment group in comparison with cong rong tong bian oral liquid control group at the quality of clinical efficacy. Explore the mechanism and the promotional value.Method:According to the inclusion criteria,60 senile constipation patients were selected and were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with 30 cases in each group. The treatment group were treated with the needle warming therapy, the main electro acupoints included:zhongwan,tianshu,qihai,guanyuan,shangjuxu, one time each day, about 30minit; while the control group were treated by cong rong tong bian oral liquid, three times a day, one bottle aeach time. For both groups, eff iciacy evaluation was conducted after seven days'continuous course treatment. Efficacy evaluation was conducted according to the《The gudie to clincial study of Chinese medicine and new drugs》.Results:After treatment, comparing the overall effects of the two groups by Ridit test, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05), including that the treatment group had better effect than control group. For patientd in both groups, within a short period of time, majority of patients defecate, both group was significantly improved after treatment, and the treatment group better than the control group, the difference was statistically signigicant. The syndrome integral by analytical statistics, the difference was statistically significant (p<0.05)before and after treatment. Both methods can improve the first defecation ande the clinical symptoms. After treatment, the overall efficacy of the treatment group was better than the control group and the treatment group had a more obvious improvement in. Comparing the two groups with each other, the difference was statistically significant.This method possess sort of effective,immediate,innocuous, and propagable method.
