ObjectivesTo observe the effects of needle warming therapy on diarrhea-Predominant irritable bowel syndrome(IBS-D), and to compare the curative effection with conventional acupuncture. To explore a series of more effective treatments for irritable bowel syndrome that can provide a better clinical service.Methods59cases with IBS-D were randomly divided into the treatment group(the needle warming moxibustion group) and the control group(the routine acupuncture group) by RCT. The treatment group of30cases and the control group of29cases.The master points include tianshu(ST25), zusanli (ST36), zhongwan (RN12), and dachangshu (BL25) points. The adjunct acuPuncture Points include taichong (LR3) and pishu (BL20). Both groups used the law of ping bu ping xie.The treatment group used moxibustion with warming needles on tianshu, zusanli, zhongwan and dachangshu point. Record the data before and after treatment respectively by TCM syndrome integral scale、SF-36and IBS-QOL from the two groups.Establish the database, and analyze them by SPSS17.0software Package.ResultsWith respect to the TCM syndrome curative effect:Both groups of TCM syndrome score were significantly improved(P<0.05).Comparisons between groups revealed that the clinical symptoms of the needle warming moxibustion group is better than the routine acupuncture group on Abdominal paui、Abdominal distension、 Diarrhoea、Cacation urgent、Chest pain. TCM syndrome curative effect of the two groups revealed:The rate of recovery of the needle warming moxibustion group was20.7%.The total effective rate of the needle warming moxibustion group was93.1%. The rate of recovery of the routine acupuncture group was14.3%.The total effective rate of the routine acupuncture group was82.1%. Significant differences were find between the two groups. In the improvement of irritable bowel syndrome quality of life scale score:We can find that8dimensions of scale scores is increased before prior treatment of the two groups by SF-36(P<0.05). Comparisons between groups revealed that the needle warming moxibustion group is better than the routine acupuncture group on PF and RP(P<0.05). We can find that8dimensions of scale scores are increased before the treatment of the two groups by IBS-QOL(P<0.05). Comparisons between groups revealed that the needle warming moxibustion group is better than the routine acupuncture group on Q1,Q2,Q3and Q4(P<0.05).Conclusions1. The needle warming moxibustion group and the routine acupuncture group can improve the quality of life and clinical symptoms of patients with IBS-D (hepatic stasis spleen deficiency syndrome).2. The treatment group is better than the control group on Abdominal pian、 Abdominal distension、Diarrhoea、Cacation urgent、Chest pain. The treatment group is better than the control group on PF,RP,Q1,Q2,Q3and Q4.3. The needle warming moxibustion group has a better clinical curative effect than the routine acupuncture group. |
