Commuity Chinese Medical Health Care Service Demands And Medical Models In Eldly Population Of Guangzhou

At present, the global ageing population is developing rapidly, it's record that there are 1/3 countries and regions have gotten into the rank of aging society. China enters the aging society in 1970s. Nowadays, the number of aging population and the degree of senility shows rapid growth tendency.The issue of aging, especially the health care service for elderly people becomes a major social problem in China. In view of the major characteristics of aging population and aging families, as well as the status of Community Health Service development. It's worth a penetrate study for us to detect the combination of Chinese Medicine and Community Health Services, so that to make full use of the resources and make sure the effective and reasonable resource allocation.This study aims at:I.Through the survey for community aging people in Guangzhou, to describe and analysis the demand and utilization of Community Chinese Medical Health Services;Ⅱ. Based on the analysis of demands status, to put forward a eligible Chinese Medical Health Services Model which fit for the community health service development;Ⅲ.According to the conclusion,to offer a policy reference for the government on developing Community Chinese Medical Health Services. This study covers multidisciplinary theories and methods, such as principles of Health Management, Health Economics, Sociology, Public Administration, Gerontology etc. On base of literature search and analyses, we deliver questionnaire survey, individual interviews and seminars for the elderly population in Guangzhou,to collect information and data.Then process the data with statistics means。Finally, to evaluate the supply and demand status of Chinese Medical resource in community health institutions, find the demand status of Chinese medical services for elderly people, then investigate community Chinese Medical resource allocation, and propose the community Chinese Medical services development models for elderly health maintenance.This paper contains four parts:Chapter 1:Preface. Introduce the study background and related theories and knowledges;Chapter 2: Illustrate the survey design and study method;Chapter 3:To find and analysis the demand and utilization status of Community Chinese Medical Health Services;Chapter 4:Proposals about the new models on community Chinese Medical health services for elderly people in Guangzhou.This paper focus on the actual situation of aging population in Guangzhou, and make an extensive survey and analyses on community Chinese Medical health services for elderly people, rest on the combination of community health service and Chinese Medicine development, it conclusion five new Community Chinese Medical services developmental models for elderly health maintenance, i. e. Subdistrict Chinese medical care model, special gerontal medical care model, community family network model, Chinese medical health park model and seasonal special service model.As a bold practice to solve the real problem for aging residents in medical treatment, this paper has a certain reference function to improve the development level of community health services, to promote the developing process of Chinese medicine, and to solve the health problems and social issues caused by aging population.
