Object:Common acne is a chronic inflammatory disease of the hair follicle and the sebaceous glands, mostly seen in teenagers with comedones, papulae, pustules, nodules and cysts formed on the face, chest and back. According to the modern medicine, it's due to over secretion of the male hormone, dyske-ratosis of conduit of the sebaceous gland, and microbial infection. It does harm to appearance, also influences people's quality of life. With the improvement of people's living standard, people pay more and more attention to their appearance, meanwhile more and more related clinical researches have been done. Both Chinese medicine and modern medicine in the treatment of acne have a variety of ways, all have their own advantages. At present, the male hormone antagonist, antibiotics and tretinoin are used for treatment, but the effect is not so good and with side effects. Acupuncture treatment of acne has achieved better clinical efficacy, and no obvious side effects. I embarked on a clinical study to further research Jin's three-needle technique binding syndrome differentiation as a treatment of acne technical specifications, clinical efficacy and safety, provide the basis for the clinic. Methods:In this study,60 cases were randomly divided into two groups. According to TCM syndrome differentiation divided into three types:the pattern of wind and fire violating the lungs in 22 cases, the pattern of gastrointestinal heat in 24 cases, the pattern of phlegm and static blood binding together in 14 cases. Divided into 4 levels according to the severity:mild in 11 cases, accounting for 18%; moderate in 31 cases, accounting for 51%; moderate to severe in 15 cases, accounting for 25%; very severe in 3 cases, accounting for 5%. In the treatment group, main points adopted acupuncture and combine points adopted pricking & cupping every two days.6 times for a therapeutic period and two therapeutic periods totally had been done. The cases in control group used victoria amine resin capsules by oral administration,6 weeks for a therapeutic period and one therapeutic period totally had been done. Results:In the treatment group of 30 treated cases,15 cases cured, accounting for 50%; markedly effective in 11 cases, accounting for 36.7%; improved in 3 cases, accounting for 10%; and 1 case failed, accounting for 3.3%. The total effective rate was 96.7%. In the control group of 30 treated cases,6 cases cured, accounting for 20%; markedly effective in 12 cases, accounting for 40%; improved in 9 cases, accounting for 30%; and 3 cases failed, accounting for 10%. The total effective rate was 90%。1. Before treatment, the comparison between the treatment group and the control group in age bracket, course of diseases, integral lesions and illness conditions had comparability (p>0.05). The result suggested that there was no difference between these two groups in clinical data.2. After treatment, the lesions integrals of both two groups were significantly different from the lesions integral before treatment (p<0.05). It suggested that the treatment of these two groups both had a good curative effect in treating acne.3. After treatment, the lesions integrals of the two groups were significantly different (p<0.05). It suggested that the curative effect of the treatment group was better than the control group.4. After treatment, the rate of marked improvement of this two groups are significantly different (p<0.05). It suggested that the curative effect of the treatment group was better than the control group. Conclusion:The clinical research showed Jin's three-needle technique binding syndrome differentiation therapy was better than victoria amine resin capsules in treating acne. The therapy can treat both the biao-symptom and ben-root of common acne, the therapy short in course and effective in result, low rate of recurrence and no side effects. Since then it's worthy of further clinical application.
