ObjectivesTo evaluate the related factors in elderly acute cerebral infarction patients with vascular cognitive impairment.methodsCase-control study in hospital was taken in this study. Collection of hospital from March 2009 to August 2009,54 cases of vascular cognitive impairment in elderly patients with acute cerebral infarction and 66 cases of non-vascular cognitive dysfunction in elderly patients with acute cerebral infarction (control group) clinical data.All patients were assessed by MMSE and were study with the same MRI or CT scanner.ResultsThere were significant difference between groups in smoking, hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, high fibrinogen levels, the incidence of carotid plaque There was significant difference between groups in the incidence of the left-side cerebral infarction, frontal lobe infarction, temporal lobe cerebral infarction.ConclusionsElderly patients with acute cerebral infarction,smoking hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, high fibrinogen levels, carotid artery plaque formation and left-side cerebral infarction, frontal lobe infarction, temporal lobe infarction could be identified as a vascular known predictors of dysfunction.
