Expression Of HIF-1α And MMP-2 Protein In Endometrial Carcinoma And Its Significance

To study the expressions of HIF-la and MMP-2 in endometrial carcinoma(EMC) and to evaluate their significance of the clincopathological features of EMC。Materials and MethodsImmunohistochemical staining sp method was used to detect the expression of HIF-lα,MMP-2, in 52 cases of endometrial adenocarcinoma,23 cases of atypical endometrium and 18 cases of normal endometrium, and analyze the relationship to surgical pathological stage, tumor grade, myometrial invasion and lymph node metastasis。ResultsHIF-la in normal endometrial tissue, endometrial atypical hyperplasia and endometrial carcinoma rates werel6.67%,34.78%,73.08%, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)。Pairwise comparison showed HIF-la in normal endometrium and endometrial atypical hyperplasia tissues no statistically significant difference in strength (P>0.05), in endometrial carcinoma tissues than in normal strength endometrial tissue and endometrial atypical hyperplasia tissue strength, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05)。Endometrial carcinoma in the expression of HIF-la with the pathological degree of differentiation, myometrial invasion and lymph node metastasis appeared to deepen gradually increased, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)。MMP-2 in normal endometrial tissue, endometrial atypical hyperplasia and endometrial carcinoma rates were 22.22%, 39.13%,71.15%, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)。Pairwise compari-son showed MMP-2 in normal endometrium and endometrial atypical hyperplasia tissues no statistically significant difference in strength (P>0.05), in endometrial carcinoma tissues than in normal strength endometrial tissue and endometrial atypical hyperplasia tissue strength, the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05). Endometrial carcinoma in the expression of MMP-2 with the pathological degree of differentiation, myometrial invasion and lymph node metastasis appeared to deepen gradually increased, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)。The positive expression rate between HIF-1αand MMP-2 in endometrial carcinoma was showed statistically positive correlation(rs= 0.543, P<0.01)。Conclusion1. HIF-la and MMP-2 was showed expression in endometrial carcinoma. The expression of HIF-la and MMP-2 was correlated with the histopathological grading, the surgical pathologic staging, the depth of the cancer invading uterine myometrium, the lymph node metastasis. The expression of HIF-la and MMP-2 was proved being correlated with the progression and metastasis of the endometrial carcinoma.2. The expression of HIF-la and MMP-2 in endometrial carcinoma was showed statistically positive correlation. It was supposed that there would be some interaction between HIF-la and MMP-2 in the progression and metastasis of the endometrial carcinoma.
