Objective:We measured serum adiponectin(ADP) and plasma endo-thelin (ET) levels in patients with acute cerebral infarction,To investigate the relationship between the severity of the disease and the levels of ADP and ET,the relevance of ADP and ET,the clinical and pathophysiology implication of ADP and ET in acute cerebral infarction.Methods:Patients with acute cerebral infarction(CI) group for 29 cases;27 cases of healthy control group,in line with the income group of standards,in terms of age,gender composition comparable(P>0.05).By enzymelinked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) and the non-equilibrium method were used to detect the two groups of ADP and ET levels were observed in patients with acute cerebral infarction within 48 hours of onset and the first 10 days after admission ADP and ET levels. The CI group were given head CT or MRI examination.The infarct volume was calculated by pullicino.The results of the use of statistical software SPSS 10.0 statistical processing,CI group and control group sample was used to analyze the differences between the two independent samples t test;cerebral serum ADP,plasma ET levels Analysis using paired t test;bivariate correlation between the single-factor analysis of the use of linear correlation analysis, P<0.05 means the difference has statistical significance.Results:1.Pathogenesis of cerebral infarction within 48 hours of serum ADP level was significantly lower than the control group.And the 10th day of admission serum ADP was higher than the ADP levels in the 48 hours.2.The plasma ET level in CI group in the course of the first 10 days was significantly higher than in control group.(P<0.05).Plasma ET levels 10 days after admission than 48 hours,the incidence did not have significant difference.3.The mean level of serum ADP and plasma ET in the patients with cerebral infarction were not found correlation with infarct volume.4.The mean level of serum ADP in the patients with cerebral infarction. was not found correlation with plasma ET.Conclution:1. Pathogenesis of cerebral infarction within 48 hours of serum ADP level was significantly lower than the control group.And the 10th day of admission serum ADP was higher than the ADP levels in the 48 hours.So ADP might be involved in the occurrence and the development of acute cerebral infarction.2. The plasma ET level in CI group in the course of the first 10 days was significantly higher than in control group,which indicated ET minght be involved in the occurrence and the development of acute cerebral infarction.3. The mean level of serum ADP and plasma ET in the patients with cerebral infarction. were not found correlation with infarct volume.4. The mean level of serum ADP in the patients with cerebral infarction was not found correlation with ET,which indicated that their role of acute cerebral infarction and/or related mechanism may be different.
