The chemical constituents of Phyllodium elegans (Lour.) Desv of Yao medicinal plant were discussed in the present study. The compounds of Phyllodium elegans were isolated and purified by extraction, chromatography on silica gel and Sephadex LH-20, HPLC and recrystallization, fouteen compounds and one mixture were obtained. Their structures were elucidated by physicochemical properties, spectroscopic analysis and comparison with published data. These compounds were characterized to be lupenone (1), lupeol (2), betulin(3), betulinic acid(4), betulinic acid 4'-hydroxycinnamate(5), isovanillic acid (6), citrusinol(7), yukovanol (8), betulinic acid 3',4'-dihydroxycinnamate (9), Artochamin C (10), Desmodol (11), protocatechuic acid (12), Aromadendrin (13), luteolin (14), stigmasterol, stigmasterol andβ-Sitosterol (15). Compound 1,2,3,4,5,6,9,10,11, 12,14 all have never been separated from this plant before, and compound 2,4,5,6, 9,10,11,12,14 were obtained from the plants of phyllodium for the first time, also show 13C-NMR of compound 11 for the first time. The volatile components of Phyllodium elegans (Lour.) Desv, which were collected in May, July and October, were comparatively studied, and the volatile components from the fresh herbs that collected in May were extracted by steam distillation(SD) and ultrasound-extracted method(UESD). Then we seperated and detected the volatile components by GC-MS. The results show that the maJor volatile components of Phyllodium elegans (Lour.) Desv are alcohols, hydrocarbons, phenols, ketones, aldehydes and acids. The main volatile components of Phyllodium elegans that collected in different seasons are almost the same, they mainly involving Phytol, Hexadecanoic acid, Hexahydrofarmesyl acetone, Farnesyl acetone, Butylated Hydroxytoluene, P-Damascnone, and the herbs collected in May have the richest volatile oil than others, we identified 41 volatile components form it. Compared SD and UESD, we found the extraction efficiency of UESD is higher than SD. |
