A Clinical Study On Treating Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Herniation With Duzhong Tablet

Objective:To evaluate the effect and safety of Duzhong tablet on the treatment of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation.Methods:120 cases of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation were divided randomly into treatment group(60 cases,treated with Duzhong tablet)and composite group(60 cases,treated with Diclofennac capsule).There was no statistic significance difference between two groups in the age,sex,height,weight and the course of disease.Fore-and-after treatment JOA score,the density of IL-6 were recorded.Compare JOA score,the density of IL-6,the effect of two groups.Results:(1)There were 8 excellent(13.3%),22 good(36.67%),24 fair (40.00%) and 6 poor(10.00%) in treatment group.In composite group,10 was excellent(16.67%),28 good(46.67%),13 fair(21.67%) and 9 poor(15.00%).The effect of two groups was no statistic difference after treatment(P＞0.05).(2) After treatment 3 weeks,all cases were available for follow-up.According to the JOA scoring syststem,the average score of treatment group were:6.83±1.33 fore-treatment,10.85±2.40 after-treatment and 10.75±2.38 after 3 weeks follow-up;the average score of composite group were:6.68±1.03 fore-treatment,11.11±2.6 after-treatment and 11.07±2.64 after 3 weeks follow-up.There was no statistic significance difference between two groups in JOA scoring syststem(P＞0.05).(3) The density of IL-6 of two groups were:128.24±32.91 ng/ml,110.09±28.50 ng/ml;128.78±31.72 ng/ml,106.05±26.15 ng/ml fore-and-after treatment.The density of IL-6 was descend obviously.And there was no statistic significance difference between two groups in the density of IL-6 fore-and-after treatment(P＞0.05).Conclusions:Duzhong tablet has no adverse effect.lt is a safe and effective druggery on the treatment of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation.
