"Bu Shen Xing Shen" Acupuncture Treatment's Clinical Observation On Post-Stroke Depression(PSD)

Objective:Observe the curative effect of "bushenxingshen" acupuncture treatment on post—stroke depression(PSD).Methods:60 PSD patients enrolled were randomly divided into acupuncture treatment group and control group.30 cases of acupuncture group,30 cases of control group.Acupuncture group was treated with acupuncture treatment; Control group was treated with Fluoxetine.Compared with the patients of the two groups before treatment and treatment in the first 2 weeks,over 4 weeks with the application of HAMD(17 items),Traditional Chinese Medicine symptom to estimate the curative effect.Results:1.Before and after treatment patients' symptom of acupuncture group were notability improvement with HAMD scale score (P＜0.01).Clue to:Acupuncture can improve PSD patients' depressive symptoms.2.Before and after treatment patients' symptom of acupuncture group were notability improvement with Traditional Chinese Medicine symptom(P＜0.01).Clue to:Acupuncture can improve PSD patients' depressive symptoms.3.The curative effect between Acupuncture group and control group showed no significant difference(P＞0.05).This result showed the acupuncture has effeciency as well as western medicine.Conclusion:1.Acupuncture treatment of PSD have a well effect.It can be an obvious improvement on post—stroke depression with Traditional Chinese Medicine symptoms and depression.2.Acupuncture is practical,and has no side effects.It can be worthwhile to the clinical application.
