The Clinical Study Of Intervention Through Comprehensive TCM Therapies On Nerve Roots Pain Of Cervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy

BackgroundCervical spondylotic radiculopathy is characterised by the following leading symptoms in the counterpart region caused by cervical spine degeneration, nerve root repression and other pathogenic factors:a certain degree of pain, numbness, sense disability and reflex abnormality. And it's the highest incidence (60～70%) in cervical spondylosis.With the increasing number of incidence of cervical disease which gradually attracts the extensive focus of medical field, the related clinical research needs to deepen further.Object1.To reflect the advantage of comprehensive therapies of traditional Chinese medicine on cervical spondylotic radiculopathy pain,the statistical analysis that pain scores of the testing group and the control group on visiting-and-observing points one after another during the trial is applied. The Comprehensive TCM Therapies provided the auxiliary basis for the clinical expansion.2.In order to provide new views and methods for the CSR treatment, hope to reflect the advantage of the treatment of the testing group through the analysis of therapeutic effect of subjective pain in two groups.MethodsThe randomized method were used to divide 75 patients into testing group (40 cases) and the control group (35 cases), all cases were consistent with diagnostic criteria of CSR.In these cases, the testing group is made up of 10 cases of male and 30 cases of female,the control group including 6 cases of male and 29 cases of female.Treatment: the testing group (group A) means to accept the Comprehensive TCM The"rapies,inchuding cervical rotation manipulation, Chinese patent medicine named Jingtong granule,cervical functional exercise; the control group (group B) means to accept the Comprehensive western medicine Therapies, consisting of cervical traction, western medicine capsule named Futalin, neck circumference.Results1. The testing group of CSR obtained significant effect (total efficiency 95.00%).2. The testing group can significantly reduce subjective pain of patients which better than the control group (P<0.05).3. As far as the time about emergence of the effect is concerned, the point of relieving pain in the testing group is much earlier than that in the control group, which demonstrates the testing group is better than the control group (P<0.05) on the effect of pain treatment.4. The testing group can significantly reduce the score of tenderness which better than the control group (P<0.05).5. As far as the time about emergence of the effect is concerned, the point of relieving tenderness in the testing group is much earlier than that in the control group, which demonstrates the testing group is better than the control group (P<0.05) on the effect of tenderness treatment.ConclusionComprehensive TCM Therapies relieving the Pain of CSR achieved better efficiency (total efficiency 95.00%), the treatment of the testing group significantly better than the control group between VAS of the pain and the score of tenderness. In the course of the trement,there are no adverse reactions. The approach has many advantages, such notable effects, secure operation, reproducibility and easy mastering. The Comprehensive TCM Therapies provided the reliable and effective basis for the promotion and appplication in clinic.
