Objective:To observe the clinical effect and mechanism of Tiaorentongdu Acupuncture and Moxibustion to treat ischemic apoplexy. To observe the influence of the Tiaorentongdu Acupuncture and Moxibustion on blood lipids and hemorrheologic in patients with ischemic apoplexy according to which study the therapeutic mechanism and provide a more effective and practical method and scientific basis on it.Methods:The study is based on the diagnosis criterion which was instituted by the National TCM administration and the Chinese Medical Fourth National Conference. We have selected 40 suitable cases from the inpatient department of Acupuncture and Moxibustion in Shenzhen TCM Hospital since Oct.2007 to Jan.2009.They are randomly divided into 2 groups:the treatment group, comprised 20 patients treated with the Tiaorentongdu Acupuncture method, the prescription as follow: qihai, guanyuan, baihui, renzhong, chengjiang, zhongwan, neiguan, sanyinjiao; the compared group treated with yang merdian puncture, which was composed of 20 cases is prescription as follow:jianyu, quchi, shouwuli, shousanli, waiguan, hegu, yangchi, huantiao, biguan, futu, fengshi, zusanli, yanglingquan, weizhong, chengshan, jiexi, kunlun, zulinqi. All the Points are under smooth method. To observe basing on the standard list of TCM syndrome symptom assessment, harmed neuron function, and the Barthel index standards, then check the rheology of blood and the blood lipids before and after the treatment,to do statistic researeh in both group to assess the results. Statistic and analysis is using SPASS12.0 statistic software package to analyze and dispose.Results:1,The two groups are compared by t-test,P>0.05,showing no significant difference,so demonstrates they are comparable.2,Clinical Evaluation:Clinic curative effects show that the effective rate of treatment group is 80%,and the compared group is 70%,of which are compared by t-test,p<0.05,showing they have significant difference on curative effect, so demonstrates the curative effect of the treatment group is superior to the compared group.3,Harmed neuron function assessment:the average Harmed neuron function score of the treatment group is 18.60±6.85,11.60±4.80 before and after treatment, compared to which of the compared group is 18.90±6.02,15.10±5.85,seeing they both obviously declined, and the former is more obvious than the latter, showing that the treatment group is superior to the compared group.4,TCM syndrome symptom assessment:the average syndrome score of the treatment group is 11.30±3.21,7.90±2.01 before and after treatment, compared to which of the compared group is 11.20±3.44,9.30±2.30,seeing they both obviously declined, and the former is more obvious than the latter, showing that the treatment group is superior to the compared group.5,The Barthel index standards assessment:the average syndrome score of the treatment group is 42.75±7.55,60.50±5.16 before and after treatment, compared to which of the compared group is 42.25±8.05,55.75±5.26,seeing they both obviously improved, and the former is more obvious than the latter, showing that the treatment group is superior to the compared group.6,The Alteration Of Blood Rheology and Blood Lipids:to the extent of regulating levels of blood rheology and blood lipids index, the treatment group improved higher than the compared group, and there were significant differences.Between two groups(p<0.05) according to the statistical analysis. It meant that the treatment group had better function on adjusting blood rheology and blood lipids than the compared group. Conclusion:Tiaorentongdu Acupuncture and Moxibustion and the normal acupuncture both can improve the ischemic apoplexy Patients' syndromes, and regulate blood rheology and blood lipids, but the Tiaorentongdu Acupuncture and Moxibustion is more superior. This surely confirms the therapy method is scientific and practical and worth applying further.
