Multiple Tics And Related Factors In The Etiology Of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Objective:We make epidemiological investigations on the children with Multiple tics diagnosed in Guangdong Provincial Hospital of TCM from 2007 to 2009.we also study the related factors of MT patients,to explore the onset of Multiple Tic disease,risk factors for recurrent disease,provide evidence for prevention and treatment of MT,to facilitate the combination of doctor,family,school,promoting and consolidate the therapeutic efficacy.We analyze the pathogeny of Chinese Medicine from extrinsic factors,intrinsic factors, anendo exogenous pathogen,search the rule of medicament and educe the advantage ascendancy of traditional Chinese medicine.Method:We make retrospective analysis on the children with MT diagnosed in Guangdong Provincial Hospital of TCM and regulated return visit from 2008 to 2009 through clinical epidemiology cross-sectional investigation and case control.At the same time we establish a control group of children without Multiple tics and ADHD in out-patient health care.With a unified investigation Table we examine objects of general statement,period of pregnancy,conception, parturition,living habits,eating habits,hobbies of watching television and playing games,the family psychiatric history,family history of MT,past medical history,surgical history,medication history,the level of microelements recorded and so on.At the end,we input the above factors in computer using the SPSS software to establish a database after auditing and without mistake.We use chi-square test for counting data,Ridit for level data analyzing,Binary logistic for multi-factors regressive analyzing.On the other hand,we make clinical epidemiology cross-sectional investigation on case of a particular disease group about the incidence of age,the course of disease,family history of MT,onset time,onset process,iterative process conditions,the concomitant disease,EEG,ASO,etc.On the basis of the study, we expatiate on the pathogeny of Chinese Medicine from extrinsic and intrinsic factors,anendo exogenous pathogen.Results:The age of Multiple tics in children is more concentrated in the 4-7 age group,6 years old is the most,the youngest is 2 years old,the oldest is 13 years old.The ratio of male to female is 4.72:1.The marked cause for Tourette is the intensive emotional stimulation(7.6%).Incidence of abnormal EEG during onset of this disease is 19.5%.ASO rose in 8.9%of Multiple tics patients.All patients are followed up for 1 year,93.6%of patients recrudesced,which is associated with cold(62.2%) and.emotional stimulating(58.0%).The attack rate of ADHD is 51.7%.On the aspect of emotional change,there is 65.0%caused by losing temper,14.7%by anxiety. Through Chi-square test and Binary logistic regression,we found that the cause and risk factors of recrudescence of this disease is birth trauma,strict tutor, enuresis,nasal disease and recurrent respiratory tract infection and so on, for example,Multiple tics may be caused by the disease onset and risk factors of repeated,OR values are 3.218,6.120,4.094,1.666,2.402 respectively. According to the Chi-square test,single factor of the spirit of pregnancy and family history of MT may be one of the causes and risk factors of MT(X~2 =10.605,P=0.001＜0.05;X~2=25.2,P=0.000＜0.05).Conclusions:The incidence of Multiple tics was associated with heredity,birth trauma, the mental statement of the mother during pregnancy,strict tutor,enuresis, nasal disease,and recurrent respiratory tract infection.The intensive emotional stimulation is more familiar.The cause of this disease recrudescing is cold,emotional stimulation,learning tension,fatigue,diet and climate change and so on.According to epidemiological data and the results of case-control study,the cause of Chinese Medicine in MT can be divided into exogenous cause(exogenous,nasal disease,climate change - spring,winter and spring communication),internal cause(the impassioned - emotional stimulation strict family,fatigue,inappropriate diet),other cause (congenital factor - the spirit of pregnancy,birth trauma,genetic, enuresis).So maternal frightened mother,congenital disorders essence,foetal toxin conduction,lack of innate gift,and a sense of external chill,too exhausted,disordered diet habit,strong emotion may result in disease.The correlation entrails are heart,liver,spleen and kidney.
