Clinical Study Of Baiyao Trapping Treating Acute Closed Soft Tissue Injury By External Application

Abjective To investigate the effectivity and savety of Baiyao Trapping which is used to treat acute closed soft tissue injury by external application.Method According to randomized controlled trial,60 patients with acute closed soft tissue injury on extremities treated in Foshan Hospital of TCM are randomly divided into two groups.One is treated with Baiyao Trapping(n=30);The other is treated with Compound Arnica Patches(n=30).Observe clinical symptoms before treatment and at the 2th,4th,6th,8th day after treatment in both groups.Compare intragroup symptoms scores at different time.Compare symptoms scores between the two groups.Observe and compare the stimularoy at local skin.Results Baiyao Trapping group is effective for treating ecchymosis,swelling, tenderness,pain and dysfunction.And is better than the control group with respect to ecchymosis and swelling(P<0.05).But is inferior to the control group with respect to tenderness(P<0.05).And the two groups is similar with respect to pain,dysfunction and total symptoms.Conclusion In treating acute closed soft tissue injury,Baiyao Trapping is effective and save,with few stimulation.
