Research Of Cytokine Level In Peripheral In Thyroid Eye Disease Combination With Graves Disease Patients Treated With ~131I

Objective:The research of cytokines level in auto-immue pathological processes of Thyroid eye disease(TED) combination with Graves disease(GD) patients treated with ¹³¹â… , including interleukin -1β,interleukin -2,interleukin -6,interleukin-8,tumor necrosis factor-a,insulin-like growth factor-1.To explore the change of those cytokines level in TED combination with Graves disease patients treated with ¹³¹â… .Method:To select 40 confirmed cases of TED combination with GD group with ¹³¹â… treatment(degree of exophthalmos- 15 patients inâ…¢,14 inâ…£,8 inâ…¤,3 inâ…¥). without TED of 40 cases of GD group,40 cases of normal control group.Normal and the patients were drawed before or after ¹³¹â… treatment for more than 12-hour fasting venous blood three milliliters for test.To detect the serum level of IL-1β,IL-2,IL-6,IL-8,TNF-a and IGF-1 by radioimmunoassay.All data used SPSS statistical software for analysis.Results:1,After ¹³¹â… treatment,TED combination with GD patients' degree of exophthalmos has been improved to some extent,with the disappearance of symptoms of high metabolic.Pre-treatment,the number of degree of exophthalmos in patients with gradeâ…£,â…¤,andâ…¥was 25,after ¹³¹â… treatment these patients' degree of exophthalmos had dropped toâ…¢grade.2,After ¹³¹â… treatment,serum level of IL-6,TNF-a,IGF-1 were dropped in TED patients(P＜0.05 or P＜0.001),while serum level of IL-2 was higher(P＜0.001)3,Before ¹³¹â… treatment,the comparison of serum level of IL-2 and TNF-a had statistical significance between theTED combination with Graves disease group and Graves disease without exophthalmos group(P＜0.05 or P＜0.001),while serum level of IL-1β,IL-6 and IGF-1 had no statistical significance.After ¹³¹â… treatment,the comparison of serum level of IL-6 and IGF-1 had statistical significance between theTED combination with Graves disease group and Graves disease without exophthalmos group(P＜0.05),while serum level of IL-1β,IL-2 and TNF-a had no statistical significance.4,The pretherapeutic level of IL-6 in TED patients is the highest,followed as normal,the minimum for the therapeutic level(P＜0.005).The pretherapeutic level of IL-1β,TNF-a and IGF-1 in TED is the highest,followed as therapeutic,the minimum for normal level(P＜0.001).5,Before ¹³¹â… treatment,the comparison of serum level of TNF-a,IGF-1 in TED patients on different degree of exophthalmos had statistical significance,but there was no chang TNF-a,IGF-1 level corresponding with degree of the exophthalmos in trend.6,Afert ¹³¹â… treatment,there was no chang of the serum level of IL-1β,IL-2,IL-6,IL-8,TNF-a and IGF-1,corresponding with degree of the exophthalmos.Conclusions:1,A variety of cytokines involved in the occurrence and development of TED combination with Graves disease.2,The level of IL-1β,IL-8 TNF-a and IGF-1 in TED patients were higher than normal,while that of IL-2 was lower than normal. 3,The concentration of most cytokines in this research,is closely relation with the course and treatment of TED combination with Graves disease.The level of IL-1β,IL-6,TNF-a and IGF-1 in TED patients were lower after ¹³¹â… treatment,while that of IL-2 was higher.4,Before ¹³¹â… treatment the level of IL-2 is higher in TED combination with Graves disease patients compare to Graves disease without TED patients,the level of TNF-a is lower in TED combination with Graves disease patients compare to Graves disease without TED patients;After ¹³¹â… treatment the level of IGF-1 is lower in TED combination with Graves disease patients compare to Graves disease without TED patients,the level of IL-6 is higher in TED combination with Graves disease patients compare to Graves disease without TED patients.5,There is less relation of the degree of exophthalmos in TED combination with Graves disease patients with the serum level of cytokines.Before ¹³¹â… treatment the level of TNF-a,IGF-1 compared with the degree of exophthalmos had statistical significance.But there was no chang of the serum level of TNF-a,IGF-1, corresponding with degree of the exophthalmos.
