Progress In TCM Treatment Of Postinfectious Cough And Analysis Of Typical Cases

Objective:By means of literature review and analysis of typical cases, to summe up the current status of post-infectious cough in modern medicin and TCM,to discusse the pattern differentiation and therapeutic methods and formulas of postinfectious cough,to provide the basis of literature and theoretical basis for further clinical research.Methods:1.The literature on the pathogenesis,diagnosis and treatment in modern medicine and TCM were reviewed.And special emphasis was put on pattern differentiation and treatment of postinfectious cough in TCM.This article also discussed the progress of postinfectious cough treatment in medicine,point-application and integrative medicine therapy.Lastly,this article showed forland research of postinfectious cough.2.By means of analysis of three typical cases,the author put forward the methods and formulas of postinfectious cough in TCM.Results:1.There were significant side effects,when medicine such as central antitussive,corticosteroids and antihistamine drugs were used in treatment of postinfectious cough.Antibiotic treatment was ineffective,and there was widespread misuse of antibiotics in the clinical treatment of this disease.2.Method of QuFeng XuanFei,Qingre Huatan,Huoxue LiYan, Yangyin QingFei,HeJie Shaoyang,and the use of Zhisousan get good results in trearment of postinfectious cough.3.Method of QingZao Runfei achived great results in treatment of postinfectious cough.Conclusion:Method of QingZao Runfei achived great results in treatment of postinfectious cough.
