Allergic rhinitis is a clinical disease threatening the health of people frequently.It is one of allergic diseases of typeⅠ.Complement components are important ingredient in immune system.Many reports have explored that complement components participate the process of allergic rhinitis.However in other study,it seems that there are no relations between complement components and allergic rhinitis.Professor Sun observed descend of complement component C3 in blood of allergic rhinitis cases,and consider that complement component C3 in blood can protect patients on the basis of;Chinese traditional medicine.Professor Lang confirmed complement component C3 is higher and complement component C4 is normal in rat allergic rhinitis membrana mucosa by detecting mRNA of complement component C3 and C4 in rat allergic rhinitis membrana mucosa. There are no random study about C3 and C4 in rat allergic rhinitis membrana mucosa.It is necessity to detect the change of component C3 and C4 in rat allergic rhinitis blood and analysis the relations between complement component in rat allergic rhinitis membrana mucosa and blood,to explored the relations between complement component and allergic rhinitis.Objective:To explored the relations between complement component and allergic rhinitis,to analysis the relations between complement component in rat allergic rhinitis membrana mucosa and blood by founding Allergic rhinitis rat model and detecting the change of component C3 and C4 in rat allergic rhinitis blood.Methods:20 healthy SD rats were randomly allotted into AR group and control group,10 rats for each group,10 rats was sensitized and intranasally challenged by ovalbumin and AlOH3(as supplement)as allergic rhinitis models,and the control group was treated by saline.Peripheral blood was obtained by venipuncture.Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay was carried to investigate component C3 and C4 in rat allergic rhinitis blood, then Contradistincting analyses the data.Results:1.Allergic rhinitis rat model was founded.Typical symptoms of AR showing griping nose frequently,sneezing,flowing a great quantity of nasal discharge were observed in 10 rats experiment group.Griping nose transiently was observed only in control group.Average accumulated points was 6.2 in experiment group.2.Rat allergic rhinitis blood Component C3 in experiment group was descend(P<0.05);Rat allergic rhinitis blood Component C4 in experiment group and control group had no difference(P>0.05).Conclusion:Rat allergic rhinitis blood Component C3 in experiment group was descend.Rat allergic rhinitis blood Component C4 in experiment group and control group had no difference indicate that the complement system involved in the rat allergic rhinitis is activated by other ways except the classical pathway.Component system in rat allergic rhinitis blood was activated and participate process of allergic rhinitis.
