Beacause,at present there is no diagnostic criteria for certification about wind-phlegm.ObjectionTo study "Hua Tan Ding Xuan Tang" 's clinical efficacy of vertigo of syndrome-complex of wind-phlegm.Methods90 cases of vertigo pations with TCM syndrome-complex wind-phlegm are derided to two group randomly,trial group 60 cases and contral group 30cases. Trial group take "Hua Tan Ding Xuan Tang" oraliy for seven days,one dose everyday,twice day,another 7-dose can be taken according to the condition of patients,while the contral group are orally Flunarizine 10mg before retiring for seven days,last seven days.All of them had been given regular treatment of related diseases,such as high blood pressure disease,high blood lipid disease and so on.The patients' vertigo degree and syndrome-complex of wind-phlegm,are observed and scored and before and after treatment.Then numerical data related is analysed by software Spss 13.0.Results"Hua Tan Ding Xuan Tang" and Flunarizine both can reduce accacks of vertigon and alliviate the clical syndrome-complex of of wind-phlegm,yet the fomer is more efficive than the latter,compare to Flunarizine.The tial group' s clinical effective percentage is 95%,control group' s is 90%.Conelusions"Hua Tan Ding Xuan Tang" is more effective on the treatment of TCM vertigo syndrome-complex of stagnation of wind-phlegm than Betahistine HCL injecta. "Hua Tan Ding Xuan Tang" has definit therapeutic on syndrome-complex of Wind-phlegm.
