Clinical Studies Of Medicine-separated Moxibustion Repeated At "Shenque" To Treat Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Protrusion

Objective: Via the clinical observation of the medicine-separated moxibustion Repeated at "Shenque", to evaluate therapeutic effect of Shenque pint for the treatment of Lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion (LIDP),to extension the lord cures scope of Shenque point.Methods:The 72 patients were strictly and random allocated into36 Patients of LIDP in treatment group treated by medicine-separated moxibustion Repeated at"Shenque"and 36 Patients in the Control group treated by Acupuncture.The 36 Patients of LIDP in treatment group treated by medicine-separated moxibustion Repeated at"Shenque"were only treated by medicine-separated moxibustion Repeated at"Shenque"; The other 36 Patients of LIDP in Control group were only treated by Acupuncture,used the both jiaji points(Ex-B₂) of lumbar disc Herniation's,cooperate to acupuncture the Huantiao and Yanglinguqan pint if the pain was on the ouside of the leg,cooperate to acupuncture the Chengfu and Weizhong pint if the pain was on the back of the leg. The on alternate days is once,total ten times. Evaluate curative method'ffect after treatmentResults:1.The M-JOA's improvement rate of the two groups were very differt with his firt M-JOA, P<0.01,but between the two group's different is no statistical meaning.2.For the treatment group,2 Patients were cured and the rate is 5.6%, effective in 4 cases and the rate is 61.1%,22 Patients were mended and rate is 61.1%,ineffective in 8 cases and the rate is 22.8%; for the Control group,2 Patients were cured and the rate is 5.6%,effective in 13 cases and the rate is 36.1%,15 Patients were mended and rate is 41.7%,ineffective in 6 cases and the rate is 16.7%;afterχ2-CMH, there is no statistical meaning(P>0.05).3.The M-JOA'improvement rate after the first week had statistical meaning(P<0.01);after one month,for the two groups ,2 relapse cases used the medicine-separated moxibustion Repeated at"Shenque",,the percentage of relapse was 5.56% and the Acupuncture had 8 cases,the rate is 22.2%,the two percentage of relapse's differt have statistical meaning(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.The two treatments for LIDP have both achieved good clinic elefficacy.2. The medicine-separated moxibustion Repeated at"Shenque"expanded the clinical application scope.3. Acupuncture'onset time is shorter than the medicine-separated moxibustion Repeated at"Shenque"'s, but the percentage of relapse of medicine-separated moxibustion Repeated at"Shenque"'s is better than the Acupuncture's.
