The Study Of Theory And Clinic About The Relativity Between Spleen Weakness And Dementia

Objective:Discuss the relativity of Spleen weakness and dementia,investigate the proportion of Spleen weakness in dementia,observe the therapeutic effect of Being good for the spleen in the treatment of dementia.Methods:1.Clinical investigation:Collected dementia patients involving Alzheimer's Disease and Vascular Dementia which come from neuromedicine of Jilin Province Chinese medicine hospital,Jilin Province People's Hospita, Jilin Province Chinese medicine research institute All the patients were diagnosed according to the diagnostic criterion of Traditional Chinese diagnostics and analyzed the proportion of Spleen weakness in dementia.2.Clinical trial:All the patients were randomly divided into therapy group and control group,the differences between the two groups,such as age,sex, culture level,course and degree,didn't have statistical significance.The therapy group were treated with Traditional Chinese medicine and the control group were treated with medicine,15 days is a period of treatment.After two months'continuously treating,assessed the clinical effect and observed the effective guide line.Results:1.Clinical investigation:All the data of 125 patients were collected,42 patients(33.6%)belong to Spleen weakness.The other patients didn't have clear Spleen weakness syndrome when they were investigated,but they have ever had Spleen weakness symptom during the course of the disease,such as blood retention due to phlegm stagnation(4),intense heat in both heart and liver(1),mental disturbance due to phlegm-fire(1),deficiency of liver-yin and kidney-yin(3),qi and blood deficiency in heart and spleen(2).It total up to 11.2.Clinical trial:The scores changes of MMSE,HDS,ADL and the main clinical syndrome in therapy group have statistical significance.The scores changes in MMSE,HDS and Spleen weakness syndrome between therapy group and control group have statistical significance.Conclusion:It can be primarily testified that Spleen weakness has a certain realition with dementia.Spleen weakness play a important role in the development and evolvement of dementia.By using such methods as Being good for the spleen,invigorating the kidney,nourishing the heart,resolving phlegm and promoting blood flow,it can be acquired satisfied effect to treat dementia.
