Objective:To observe the therapeutical effect of XiaoGeng Decoction (XGD) on PMS and explore its mechanism.Menthod:60 patients were divided into two groups at random:the test group ( 30 cases,treated with XGT) and the control group ( 30 cases,treated with QiJu Dihuang Wan ).Before and after the treatment, improvement of the clinical symptoms,changes of FSH, LH,E2,CA, NE, E,IL-2, PTH, CT and differences between two groups were observed.Result:The clinical effective rate is 93.33% in the test group, it is 70% in the control group. After the treatment,the scores of Kupperman is lowered significantly(P<0.01).The FSH and LH is lowered, the E2 is raised sigsignificantly (P<0.05). The CA,E and NE are significantly reduced(P<0.05). The concentrition of IL-2 is significantly evaluated after treatment (P<0.05).The PTH is reduced,and CT is raised remarkably (P<0.05). Except of LH,there are significant differences on all observed indexes between two groups after the treatment. Conclusion: The XiaoGeng Decoction has extremely precise therapeutical effect on Yin-deficiency of both the Liver and Kidney of PMS.And the mechanism might be related to regulating the neuroendocrine-immune Network as a whole.
