Objective: To investigate the hemostasis effect of Shenqi Guchong Yin in treating perimenopausal dysfunctional uterine bleeding with blood stasis and qi deficiency form and its mechanism. Methods: 60 cases of perimenopausal dysfunctional uterine bleeding with blood stasis and qi deficiency form, were divided randomly into treatment group (30 cases, treated with SGY) and control group (30 case, treated with GXTG). To observed cases with hemostasis effect, clinical symptoms, Thromboxane B2 (TXB2), 6-keto-prostaglandin F1а(6-K-PGF1а), the T-lymphocyte subsets (CD3 and CD4, CD4/CD8), endometrial vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in change. Results: The hemostasis effect of two groups was obvious. SGY could improve clinical symptoms of patients obviously, and the difference was significant compared to control group. The contents of 6-K-PGF1аand 6-K-PGF1а/TXB2 lower, and the contents of endometrial VEGF increased than before treatment, while the indicators of T-lymphocyte subsets of treatment group improved significantly. The changes of the treatment group were significant after treatment (P<0.01 or P<0.05), and the difference was significant compared to control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The hemostasis effect of Shenqi Guchong Yin in treating perimenopausal dysfunctional uterine bleeding with blood stasis and qi deficiency form was obvious. The effect may be achieved through improvement of microcirculation, enhancement of immune function, promotion of endometrial micro-vascular repaired, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and other relevant factors.
