Clinical Study Of The Supplementing Qi, Nourishing Yin And Promoting Blood Flow Method In Treating Diabetic Nephropathy

ObjectiveTo observe the effectiveness of supplementing qi,nourishing yin and promoting blood flow method in treating diabetic nephropathy(DN).Methoands60 patients with DN were divided randomly into two groups(testing group n=30, control group n=30).30 patients in testing group per os Chinese herbal chugs of supplementing qi,nourishing yin and promoting blood flow and accept combined therapy at the same time.30 patients in control group were only given combined therapy.All patients were treated for 8 weeks.The scores of clinical symptoms and quality of life,data of laboratory tests,were recorded before and after treatment both in testing group and in control group.The records were analyzed in statistics.Results1.Testing group showed better synthetical therapeutic effect than control grope(total effective rate is 67.87%).2.Clinical symptoms and quality of life were significantly improved both in testing group and control group(P＜0.01).Testing group gained a better therapeutic effect than control group(P＜0.05).3.Analysis of the data showed significant decrease in UAER,Upro,FBG,and PBG in testing group(P＜0.05).There was no significant change in control group.Compared with control group,testing group gained better significant therapeutic effect.4.There was significant decrease in LDL,CHO and DBP in testing group(P＜0.05).But there was no significant difference with control group(P＞0.05).5.There was no significant change in Ccr and Scr.ConclusionThis clinical study shows the better effect of supplementing qi,nourishing yin and promoting blood flow method in treating DN compared with pure combined therapy.It gained therapeutic effect and reached the objective of defending renal function by decreasing urinary protein,blood glucose,blood fat and blood pressure.
