Study On The Effect Of Modified Zexie Decoction On The Blood Liquid Metabolism And Lipid Peroxidation In Experimental Hyperlipidemia Rat

Objective:To study on the effect of modified zexie decoction on the blood liquid metabolism and lipid peroxidation in hyperlipidemia rats and discover the working mechanism of it on lipoprotein in blood.Method:1.Theoretical research: By the methods of documents collection, summary and, disuss detail and completely the part of TCM including etiological factor,pathogenesis,clinical classification and therapies,choosing of prescription and medication,and review genealogically the advance of hyperlipoidemia study on modern west medicine; analyses formula-syndrome relation and formula-disease relation of modified zexie decoction from theory of TCM and modern pharmacology.2.Experimental research: Hyperlipidemia animal model is replicated by lipid emulsion. During the 3-week medicine giving period, rats, except the normal control group, were lavaged with lipid emulsion. After the last dose, rats were not given any food, but water. After 16 hours, blood were dram from abdominal aorta of the rats. Proper treatments were done on the blood samples according to test requirement, including TC, TG, LDL-C, HDL-C, ApoAl,ApoB100, SOD,MDA,and made pathological section of the liver.Results:1. In theoretics study, the literatures point out that disorder of diet andseven emotional factors and organs of ZangFu and phlegm and stasis are its major etiological factors. No matter how human body is influenced by internal and external factors, hyperlipidemia presents itself as the formation of phlegm and stasis. The method of Jianpi Lishui and Huoxue Xiaoji as the treatment for Hyperlipidemia conforms to the fundamental theory of Chinese traditional medicine. Modified zexie decoction is made with this mothed.and effective for hyperlipoidemia.2. Modified zexie decoction could reduced the blood level of TC, TG, LDL—C and reduced level of MDA, raise level of SOD. Lessen hepatic injury and improve the state of liver..Conclusion:1.Modified zexie decoction keep in accordance with principle of uniformity on formula-syndrome relation and mothed of disease-syndrome combination. Modified zexie decoction is effective for hyperlipoidemia.2.Modified zexie decoction was effective for hyperlipemia. It had function of adjusting blood fat and treating hyperlipemia. It modified citrus pectin has significant effect on antioxidatiom and Modifiedcitrus pectin has significant effect on heightening SOD, and lowering MDA.Modified zexie decoction is effective in preventing and treating fatty liver. Promoting the clearance of free radicals and the ability ofantioxidation to regulate and improve the metabolic balance of free radicals may be its main therapeutic mechanism.
