The Study On The Protectde Effect Of Mulitang On Rat Chronic Hepatic Injury Induced By CCL₄

Objective:This study was to investigate the effect of Mulitang which could protect hepar and decrease enzyme on rat chronic hepatic injury induced by CCl₄. Meanwhile we also investigate the possible mechanism of Mulitang.Method:Male Wister rats were used in this study.Rats received olive-oil(2ml/ kg,hypodermic injection)which was dissolved in 40%CCl4 3 times a week. After 3 weeks,rats were built the model of rat chronic hepatic injury.Then they were divided into blank group,model CCl4 group,Mulitang high-dose group,Mulitang middle-dose group,Mulitang low-dose group(respectively contained 61.2g/kg,30.6 g/kg,15.3 g/kg of crude drug).Rats were treated by Mulitang for 3 weeks.Observation:The changes of contents of ALT,AST,MDA and SOD in rat blood-serum were detected.The change of rat weight and the pathological change of hepatic tissue were observed.Result:Mulitang could remarkably decrease the contents of ALT,AST,MDA,in rat blood-serum.Meanwhile it could increase the content of SOD.The pathological observation indicated that Mulitang could lessen degree of rat hepatic tissue injury.The experimental result suggested that there was dose-effect.1.Mulitang could improve hepatoeyte function recovery.2.Mulitang could lessen the change of hepatic cell axungia.3.Mulitang have the effect of anti-lipid peroxidation.4.Mulitang have the effect of protecting hepatic cell envelope.
