Clinical Study Of Shenfu Injection Combined With PCF For Patients With Advanced Gastric Cancer

OBJECT:To observe the therapeutic efficacy of Shenfu injection combined with PCF in treating advanced gastric cancer.METHODS:Fifty-eight patients with advanced gastric cancer were divided into treating group and control group.To the treating group,31 patients were treated with PCF(Paclitaxel/Cisplatin/Fluorouracil) chemotherapeutic:paclitaxel at a dose of 135 mg/m~2 ivgtt for 3h days 1,then calcium folinate 400 mg/m~2 ivgtt for 2h days 1,2,combination with fluorouracil 2400 mg/m~2,CIV for 46h days 1,cisplatin 40mg ivgtt for lh days 2,3 every weeks,while 50mL of ShenFu injection was given intravenously by dissolving in 250mL of glucose injection per day for 7 successive days,take 2 weeks as 1 cycle,and 2 cycle as 1 course of treatment.While to the control group,only chemotherapy was given.The short-time therapeutic efficacy,changes on quality of life and weight,and clinical symptom,and immunity function were evaluated.RESULTS:A total of 58 patients were enrolled and received 2 cycles of chemotherapy from June 2006 to december,2007.The short-time therapeutic efficacy was similar among two group(63.33%vs56.67%,P＞0.05),The improving rate of clinical symptom and quality of life, and immunity function,and weight of patient in the treating group was significant discrepancy than that in the control group.CONCLUSION:The ShenFu injection combined with PCF chemotherapy may improve clinical symptom and quality of life,increase weight,strengthen immunity function of patient.But ShenFu injection cannot increase local control rate.It is worthy of further widespread application in clinic.
