The Research Of 《Fu Xing Jue Zang Fu Yong Yao Fa Yao》

Background:《Fu Xing Jue Zang Fu Yong Yao Fa Yao》(《Fa Yao as the abbreviated form》)was reserved in a cavity in DunHuang specially for collecting classical documents. Until 1900, the cavity was digged, and《Fa Yao》was selected by BoXihe, who was a robber, then reserved by a employe privately, sold to ZhangGuangrong at Wei County in HeBei Province, went down to his grandchild ZhangDachang at last. Unfortunately the original work was damaged in 1966. But it is lucky that he touch according to this book and his students collected the transcript.《Fa Yao》was not recorded in history. Maybe it wrote by a hermit called TaoHongjing. This book was made of more than 7000 words for teaching hermits cure sickness. It recorded 81 prescriptions such as QingLong,BaiHu,XuanWu,ZhuQue. It also recorded summary of a lost book called《Tang Ye Jing Fa》,afforded basis to《Shang Han Lun》and had important documentary value.《Fa Yao》meet with readers again in 1988, as a part of《DunHuang Gu Yi Ji Kao Shi》. It is only 20 years until now. From 1988, many scholars researched this work, and got some results, but there are some doubt about this book because of no original work and no record in history. So it is necessary to take further research.Objective: To observe derivation of《Fa Yao》; to know whether it is collected in DunHuang or a pseudograph; to know its state now and its author; to definite its age as possible as I can; to recover the original work by new transcript I acquired; to know the relationship among《Fa Yao》,《Tang Ye Jing Fa》and《Shang Han Lun》; to afford basis to other medical researchers.Method: documentary data; muti-analyseConclusion:《Fa Yao》was reserved in DunHuang and was not a pseudograph. Its author is Tao Hongjing. It was edited by his students and offspring. It is completed between 536 AD. and 650 AD. Now《Fa Yao》record 55 precriptions, but the original work maybe recorded 81 precriptions, other 26 precriptions belong to species of metals and stones medicine. Da Xiao Teng She,Da Xiao Gou Chen Tang were lost《.Fa Yao》can guide for doctors. Actually 60 precriptions record in《Fa Yao》derived from《Tang Ye Jing Fa》.《Shang Han Lun》was written by ZhangZhongjing on the basis of《Tang Ye Jing Fa》combined with his experience, but titles of these copied precriptions were changed. So《Fa Yao》and《Shang Han Lun》both derived from《Tang Ye Jing Fa》.
