OBJECTIVE:In our study, serum levels of IgA anti-β2-GPI were determined by ELISA in 55 patients with the histories of RSA(study group)and 30 normal healthy women(control group). The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between RSA and IgA anti-β2-GPI.STUDY DESIGN:We designed a study on 55 patients with the histories of RSA,all of them come to The First Affliated Hospital,GuangXi Medical University between 2007.06 to 2007.11.The experiment objects were divided into two groups(1)32 women who experienced recurrent early spontaneous abortion(gestational age<12w).(2)23 women who experienced late spontaneous abortion(gestational age≥12w).Control subjects included 30 normal fertile women,Those women had no history of spontaneous abortion, fetal death, stillbirth and other systemic disease.Sera from 3 groups of women were studied to detect the serum level of IgA anti-β2-GPI.RESULTS:1.women who experienced recurrent early spontaneous abortion and late spontaneous abortion demonstrated a significantly higher incidence of IgA anti-β2-GPI than did controls(p<0.05).no different was between women who experienced recurrent early spontaneous abortion and late spontaneous abortion(P>0.05).2.Logistic regression demonstrated that IgA anti-β2-GPI was associated with RSA(P=0.031,odds ratio 9.902,B 2.293,95%CI 1.232-79.561)CONCLUSION:1.women who experienced recurrent early spontaneous abortion and late spontaneous abortion demonstrated a significantly higher incidence of IgA anti-β2-GPI than did controls,Thus,IgA anti-β2-GPI is closely associated with RSA,IgA anti-β2-GPI can be regarded as an immune detective index of RSA.2.The positive incidence of IgA anti-β2-GPI is not related with duration of pregnancy.3.IgA anti-β2-GPI may be a risk factor of RSA.
