Objective:To study the clinical features, diagnosis, and treatment of cholelithiasis complicated with cholangiocaminoma. Methods:Clinical and pathological data were analysed retrospectively on 34 cases of hepatolithiasis complicated with cholangiocarcinoma. Results:the results showed that 18 patients were diagnosed as cholangiocarcinoma preoperatively.Tumor occurring in left intrahepatic ducts, right intrahepatic ducts, and hilar bile duct was 41.2%,26.5%and 20.6% respectively, others are in both left and right hepatic lobes or in hilar and one hepatic lobe.Only 18(52.9%)cases underwent radical resection, and their mean survival time was 25 months;while 9(26.5%)cases were under palliative surgery, and their mean survival time was 10 months, others under no surgical treatment whose survival time was less than 6 months. Conclusions:If a patient with a long history of hepatolithiasis and this symptom appeare repeatedly and his or her preoperatic CA199 was more than 2500ng/ml,we must intensively consider the cholangiocarcinoma.
