The Constitutional Analysis Of TCM To The Cholelithiasis

Objective To investigate the distribution of statistical cholelithiasis constitutions in Chinese medicine, the control analysis of the distribution of the community of the normal population of Chinese physical law, and explore the relationship between the constitution of TCM typing and cholelithiasis help patients with cholelithiasis identified the body on the rule, and thus the use of Chinese medicine Constitutions theory of physical conditioning for patients with cholelithiasis, but also on the predisposition to strengthen the prevention and the practice of Chinese medicine "treating disease ".Methods The physical classification of nine kinds of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine Professor Wang Qi physical classification, physical identification method using a physical scale questionnaire method. The subjects were divided into120case group and control group of120people. The form of a questionnaire survey, questionnaire filled out an independent self on the spot to recover the ability to fill those by the investigators asked to fill out, using the methods of clinical epidemiology and case-control group, to collect the two groups of subjects with data, sum up analysis of information, establishment of a database application SPSS13.0statistical package for statistical analysis, the distribution of the difference of the two groups were compared populations constitutions in Chinese medicine. Statistical processing according to the different data types, were compared using t-test method, the rate of X2(chi-square) test, P<0.05for significant difference.Results Acoording to the TCM constitution, there are respectively35cases of damp-heat,25cases of phlegm,15cases of qi deficiency,14cases of qi quality,7cases of gentleness, and0cases of intrinsic quality of the120cases of patients with cholelithiasis that consisted by47male,73female patients. The proportion in turn are29.17%,20.83%,12.50%,11.67%,7.50%and0%, respectively, indicate that hot and humid quality, phlegm, and deficiency are the common type. Most of the TCM constitution types (8kinds) have no significant difference with the control group, with the exception that the damp-heat have significant differences (P<0.05). On gender differences,in the cholelithiasis group,there are more women than men; mostly in the age40-60years middle-aged, especially in this age group the proportion of women significantly higher, but no significant difference (P>0.05).Conclusion The incidence of cholelithiasis has certain relationship with TCM constitution. The patients with solid physique (phlegm and damp-heat) are more prone to cholelithiasis than those with weak constitution, especially that damp-heat are more susceptible to cholelithiasis. The tratement of live enviroment, diet habits, sports, personality, emotions and Diet, etc. of the The theory of TCM constitution can improve the the balance of the constitution of TCM to a certain extent. For people without cholelithiasis, these tratement can help people prevent from the cholelithiasis, and for the patients alreading suffering from the cholelithiasis, these tratement can achieve the purpose of "treating disease "; for the cholelithiasis patients after surgery, these tratement can help to prevent the recurrence of gallstones.
