There is a long treatment history and pIenty ofexperience in the traditionaI Chinese medicine. lncIinic, we ever have used the traditionaI ways tocIear away heat and promote gaIIbladder, resoIvewetness and expcI turbid substance but the cffect isnot good enough. My teacher,Yushaoyuan, an oldTCM doctor based on his cIinicaI cxpericncc of manyyears and invcnted TabIet Danshiqing(DSQ) ofrelying mainly on Shuanganlidan whiIc making cIearaway heat and Ioose the hoIIow-organ and3d issolvestone, excludestone suhsidiary to treatcholelithiasis as to make curative effect improvel a rgely.To clarify Tablet DSQ's treating mechanism, wehad developed both the cIinic and animal experimcntrescarches, in which Tablet DSQ was administered tothe treatment grouP and TabletXiaoronggandanjieshi(GDJS) and ursodeoxycholic acid(UDCA) was used as control group. In animalexperimcnts, thc result shows that Tablet DSQ can notonly obveriously reduce bilirubin and calciumiondensity in the guinea-pig choIecysts,but also improvebiIe acids density. In addition, the hile stone fOrmationrate of Tablet DSQ group is singnificantIy lowed.During treating, it doesn't harm to their function ofliver and kidney. In the clinicaI investigation,Tablet DSQ can effective1y improved cIinical symptoms,dissolvestone and excludestone. The differencc of totaleffective rate between thc two Chincsc hcrbal druggroups were not signincant(P>o.o5), but thedifference of total effective rate between DSQ groupand UDCA group was very significant(P<0.05).However DSQ tablet's price is markedIy lower thanthat of Tablct GDJS and UDCA, we estimate that itwill give rise to largcr 8ocial effect.
