The Clinic Study Of Medical Gauze With Shangke Huangyou On The Therapy Of Acute Skin Contusion Injury

[Objective] Acute skin contusion injury takes up a large scale of trauma. And as we known, medical gauze with Shangke Hangyou gets the function of clear away pathogenic heat and remove the toxin, cool the blood and dissipate blood stasis, reduce swelling and ease pain, arrest bleeding and promote tissue regeneration, Hemostasis and promoting granulation , which is a kind of traditional Chinese medicine in Foshan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine(FSTCM). Through the clinic study of medical gauze with Shangke Huangyou on the therapy of acute skin contusion injury, we try to make a remarkable,safe and inexpensive medicine-dressing.[Method] 120 patients who got acute skin contusion injury, were randomly divided into experimental group (60 cases) covered by medical gauze with Shangke Hangyou dressing, and control group (60 cases) covered by Urgotul dressing, and then compared the effectiveness on the wound, such as the degree of pain, hemorrhage, infection rate, the degree of conglutination between the wound and dressing, course of treatment, and cost of both.[Results]1. Medical gauze with Shangke Huangyou have a good effect on reducing the degree of pain when changing dressing. On the first day, there was remarkably significant difference in both groups when changing dressing (P<0.01). And there was significant difference on both groups' degree of pain when changing dressing on the second day(P<0.05).2. Comparing the Urgotul group, medical gauze with Shangke Huangyou have a good effect on detumescence and easing pain at rest time. And there was remarkably significant difference between two groups(P<0.01)3. Medical gauze with Shangke Huangyou have a good effect on the rate of hemorrhage and infection. There was significant difference on the rate of hemorrhage and infection. (P<0. 05); And the rate of hemorrhage and infection of medical gauze with Shangke Huangyou group was much lower than the Urgotul group. But with the decrease of the diffusate of wounds, the medical gauze with Shangke Huangyou group and the Urgotul group have significant difference on the hemorrhage (P<0.05).4. Medical gauze with Shangke Huangyou has a good effect on decreasing the length of cure time. Comparing the Urgotul group, the length of cure time was decreased in the medical gauze with Shangke Huangyou group. And there was significant difference in the study (P<0.05).5. Medical gauze with Shangke Huangyou cost less. Comparing the Urgotul group, the therapy cost was decreased in the medical gauze with Shangke Huangyou group. And there was remarkably significant difference in the study (P<0.05).6. Medical gauze with Shangke Huangyou can increase he effectiveness on the degree of conglutination. Comparing the Urgotul group, the degree of conglutination in the medical gauze with Shangke Huangyou group was much higher. And there was significant difference between two groups (P<0.01) .7. Medical gauze with Shangke Huangyou has a good effect on decreasing the infection of injury. There was no difference on the aspect of the rate of infection in this study. (P>0.05)[Conclusion]Urgotul is known as a very good wound dressing, and be spread to clinic use. Compare Urgotul, using medical gauze with Shangke Huangyou can much better decrease the degree of pain, the rate of hemorrhage in earlier period and the length of cure time when changing dressing. And cost of the same area of dressing, medical gauze with Shangke Huangyou is much lower than Urgotul. Both of the groups in this study didn' t appear any anaphylaxis. But the effectiveness on the degree of conglutination in the medical gauze with Shangke Huangyou group is not excellent as the Urgotul group.It suggests that using medical gauze with Shangke Huangyou as a therapy on acute skin contusion injury can make a remarkably good effect. It is convenient safe and inexpensive, and can be used in clinic widely.
