Clinical Evaluation Of The Combination Of Tong Bi Ling And Er Teng Tong Bi He Ji To Rheumatoid Arthritis

Objective:To evaluate objectively the clinical efficacy and security of the combination use of Tong Bi Ling and Er Teng Tong Bi He Ji to RA .Methods:The 70 cases of RA patients in accordance with the standards came from the First Affiliated Hospital from May 2007 to January 2008 , the treatment course is 12 weeks, to observe and compare ACR20 related indicators and adverse reactions among before treatment, after two weeks, four weeks, eight weeks, 12 weeks of treatment, using the efficacy standards ACR20 international RA evaluation team recommended,to objectively evaluate the recent anti-RA effect of Tong Bi Ling and Er Teng Tong Bi He Ji.Results:After two weeks, four weeks, eight weeks, 12 weeks of treatment, achieved ACR20 were 44.3%, 64.3%, 75.7%, 91.4%. After 12 weeks' s treatment, the average grip of hands, the time of morning stiff, the numbers of joint swelling and joint tenderness and the pain VAS score, the overall disease situation in VAS score evaluated by the patients, the overall situation of the disease VAS Score evaluated by the researcher, health assessment questionnaire (HAQ) and related laboratory indicators (ESR, CRP, RF) have been significantly improved (P<0.05). From the cases we can see the the significant efficacy and fast onset of the combination use of Tong Bi Ling and Er Teng Tong Bi He Ji at the beginning of the second week (P<0.05).In adverse reactions side, the combination use (5.7 percent) was significantly lower than the current combination of Western medicine reported adverse reaction rates, the rash can dissipate after using the topical skin ointment Waicha, the nausea and other gastrointestinal reaction can disappear after symptomatic treatment, and it does not affect the continuous use, menstrual disorder gradually disappear after the Stopping of the medicine , liver and kidney function and blood cells were not affected.Conclusion:TO compare commonly clinical study now, Tong Bi Ling and Er Teng Tong Bi He Ji has effective treatment to, and has faster onset and less side effects and better security to RA.
