Objective:Applying "Shuang Gu Yi Tong"acupuncture combined with western medicine in the treatment of active rheumatoid arthritis of patients syndrome of stagnant dampnessheat,observing the clinical symptoms and signs score,the symptom integral of TCM,ESR and CRP changes,then to explore the curative effect and security of patients with acute rheumatoid arthritis by acupuncture combined with western medicine,provide the basis for the further application of acupuncture in the treatment of active RA.Methods:Collected from Shanxi provincial hospital of TCM rheumatology outpatients and inpatients department comply with RA patients,were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.Both of them taked Diclofenac Sodium enteric capsules and Leflunomide tablets.The treatment group added the "Shuang Gu Yi Tong"acupuncture which taking Zu san li(double),Guanyuan,Yang Ling quan(double),Qu chi(double),Wai guan(double),He gu(double),A shi point,San yin jiao(double),and appropriate acupoints according to the condition of the disease.One time 30 minutes,3 times a week,and a total of8 weeks.Before and after treatment,I would analyze statistical of data that includes the clinical symptoms and signs score,the symptom integral of TCM,ESR and CRP.Testing blood routine,urine routine,liver and kidney function could be done at the same time.Results:1.On the part of the evaluation of clinical efficacy:in the treatment group,the total effective rate was 93.33%;in the control group,the total effective rate was 80%.The difference was statistical significant(P<0.05).2.On the part of the evaluation of the curative effect of TCM Syndrome,in the treatment group,the total effective rate was 93.33%;in the control group,the total effective rate was80%.The difference was statistical significant(P<0.05).3.On the clinical symptoms and signs score:there was no difference between the two groups before treatment,but after treatment there was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).There was a significant difference in the the clinical symptoms and signs score between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.01).In the treatment group,improving clinical symptoms was more obvious.4.On the symptom integral of TCM:there was no difference between the two groups before treatment,but after treatment there was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).There was a significant difference in the TCM symptoms integral between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.01).In the treatment group,improving clinical symptoms was more obvious.5.In the aspect of ESR,there was no difference between the two groups before treatment,but after treatment there was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).There was a significant difference in the ESR between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.01).In the aspect of CRP,there was no difference between the two groups before treatment,but after treatment there was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).There was a significant difference in the CRP between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.01).In the treatment group,reduceing ESR and CRP was more obvious.Conclusion: "Shuang Gu Yi Tong"acupuncture combined with western medicine can improve the symptoms and signs of patients of rheumatoid arthritis,reduce the inflammatory indexes and reduce the degree of disease activity."Shuang Gu Yi Tong"acupuncture can enhance the clinical efficacy,slow down the inflammatory response and improve quality of life of patients.
