In the middle Period of 1980s, the scholar of the Soviet Union discovered that besides the health and disease conditions there was an edge condition between the health and disease that was sub-health condition. From then on, a great deal of the researches have been taken on the sub-health condition, and brought many methods for prevention and treatment. It's one of the focuses of the medical field because of its high occurrence rate. The target of this research is the sub-healthy college students, it researches the clinic symptom, the distribution of syndrome and the quality of life of them by applying the TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) syndrome questionnaires and epidemiological cross-sectional study. ObjectivesWe concluded the experience and established the operational model in carrying out large-sample epidemiological research in TCM syndrome. This model provides the scientific and effective technical platform for clinical research in TCM.Results1,Sub-health status of girls is higher than the incidence of boys. With the rise in grades, increases the odds of a sub-health state. Sports categories of students in the sub-health risk than the students in arts categories2,The major body symptoms of sub-healthy people are: intolerance of hot, intolerance of cold, fatigue, spontaneous sweating, bad memorizing ability, dry eyes, difficult to fall asleep, body ache, fainting feeling, eyes ache. The body aches mainly happen at the limbs, shoulders and abdominal, two sides of head and joint. The sub-healthy people often feel ached, dull pains and swelling pains at these parts of body, and they feel better after the massage. 3,The familiar symptoms of the sub-healthy state take turns as following: stagnation of the liver-qi, internal accumulation of damp, deficiency of both qi and yin, deficiency of yin in liver and kidney, deficiency of both yin and yang, deficiency of yin and fiery. MethodReleased the questionnaire and collected the data. Coding the data and making the database file, entering and checking the data depend on the software Excel and turning into the SPSS database file, analyzing statistically the datum in virtue of the software about Spss13.0.
