The Clinical Observation On The Therapy Of Wind-cold Attrack Lung Laryngeal Cough Using Sanao Decoction

Laryngeal cough is a common illness in out-patient clinic of otorhinolaryngology.Traditional medicine believe this disease is belong to the "man hou-yin" category.Equivalently as "upper respiratory infection" or "chronic pharyngitis" in modern medicine,lts clinical manifestation include throat itching and cought,It always morbility in dry and cold day.Once it happened,it is hard to cure.The symptom can go on exist in a long period.Further research believe it is the topical disease of throat cause cough.First,Simulating factor effect on the deeply recptor in the throat tissur,and then the nervous impulse go through recurrent laryngeal nerve to nervous center,at the end cause cough.Modern medicine think it possible relate with may factor such ashypersensitiveness,air pollution,viral infection and hypoimmunity.Today western medicine always use preventing cough,anti-anaphylaxis to cure this disease,the method works,but it can't use as a long term therapy.There are also many reports about Chinese medicine trement,the therapeutic effects not bad,but the time of therapy not short.For the past few years professor Zu-wang Gan go through a long period clinical practice,analysis the etiopathogenisis and pathogenesis of this disease,and propose a name as "laryngeal cough".The new name is better to summary its character.In clinical treatment he get the better therapeutic effect.Sanao Decoction is a simple decoction,it is the basic and classics way to heal "wind-cold attrack lung" symptom.This thesis includes three part:1,study the therapeutic effect of sanao decoction;2,compare the difference of clinical symptom,objective sign between pretherapy and posttherapy;3,compare the advantage and disadvantage between treatment group and control group in order to find a better way to heal the disease with good therapeutic effect and low cost.Objective:The objective of this study is to assess the therapeutic effect of sanao decoction in treating laryngeal cough of the type of wind-cold attack lung.Methods:To select sixty patients from the combination of《The Principle in Clinic study of TCP》in 1993 and《Diagnostics of TCM》.Sixty Patients entered with laryngeal Cough of wind-cold attack lung entered the study and were randomized to treatment and control group.SO case in treatment group and 30 case in control group.The treatment group was given sanao decoction(ephedra 12g,licorice root 12g,rhizoma 5g),being thawed in hot water and eating 200ml twice every day.The control group was given cefalexin capsule 0.5 po tid,GM 8wu+DXM 5mg+NS 50ml atomization to breathe in.one time every day,each time 10min.Five day for a course of treatment.We observed the changes of clinical symptoms after 2 treatment,the adverse effects were illustrated in words.Results:(1)Clinical Evaluation:Clinical treatment group recovered 7 cases, 13 cases markedly effective,efficient 9 cases,1 case of invalid.Significant control of 66.7%,the total efficiency of 96.7%;Control group,1 case of clinical cure,5 cases markedly effective,effective in 20 cases,4 cases invalid.Rate of 20 percent in control,and the total efficiency of 86.7%. The results showed that sanao decoction was proved to be efficacious in improving clinical symptom.(2)Clinical symptoms evaluation:The therapeutic effect of the treatment group was significantly better than thecontrol group.(3)Security evaluation:All case hadn't any Adverse reactions.Conclusion:Sanao decoction has the effect of dispersing itch,stopping cough, and resolving phlegm.It work fast,without any Adverse reactions.The treatment have broad prospects for development...
