The constipation is a symptom in many diseases,refers to less quantity of defecation,the difficulty of expel,or accompanied with some other symptom, such as long hours defecating,the distend feels in rectum,sometimes even need the help of hand,and some person who defecate every daybut the deal is little and feel discomfort also call the constipation.without use of purgative prescriptions,defecate <2 times or had no intention of over a long period of time.with the development of society,Keen competition and the chang of diet structure,Its incidence rate has the tendency which advances gradually. by its unique channels and collaterals acupoint system info and the non-medicine's therapy,Acupuncture obtain certain curative effect in treating this sickness,Recent year,the medical arena take more attention to these tradition's method.the clinical practice has the tendency which increases gradually.Objective:Through the clinical research in treatment functionality constipation by acupoint catgut embeding and the traditional Chinese medicine, explore the treatment in functionality constipation which have curative effection,and few side effect.By compared the and the internal medicine in the pharmacotherapy curative effect,provide the basis for acupoint catgut embeding in treatment functionality constipation.Methods:30 example patients was selected from Taiwan Guo Yuan Chinese medicine clinic,divides into acupoint catgut embeding group and the traditional Chinese medicine group,The acupoint catgut embeding group chose these acupuncture points:tianshu,dachangshu,shenshu,and select acupuncture points according to the symptoms.Operating procedure:000catgut was cut into 1/1.5-cm pieces,then was inserted into the embedding needl.After partial strict conventional disinfection,the needle was swiftly inserted into the skin.When the needling sensationwas obtained,the stylet was pushed inward and the embedding needle was pulledoutward.Repeated in this way,thecatgut was retained inside the acupuncture points,acupoints.After then needle was taken out,the needle hole was stuck witha piece of Band—Aid bandage,which was taken offone day later.The catgut was embedded once every 15 days.The therapeutic effect was assessed after four times,according to the symptoms,the traditional Chinese medicine group chose Mazirenwan or jichuanjian.Main observation item:The defecation interval index;Excrement nature index; defecation hard sledding index;Abdominal pain index;distension of the abdomen index.Record the data from the two groups,establish the database, analyze them by SPSS 13.0 software package.Results:The acupoint catgut embeding group totel effective rate is 93.33%, the traditional Chinese medicine group reach to 66.67%,two groups have statistical significance(P＜0.05).this Prompt that the effective of the catgut-embedding therapy group is better than the traditional Chinese medicine group.both group have effective in the defecation interval index;excrement nature index;defecation hard sledding index;Abdominal pain index and distension of the abdomen index,but there is not remarkable difference betwent them.Conclusions:the effective of the acupoint catgut embeding group is better than the traditional Chinese medicine group.And This method operation is simple,the compliance is good.It is glad accepted by the people,so has the broad clinical practice prospect.But there is not enough observation case in this research,clinical must further observational study.
