Objection:To study the relationship of Bone mineral density(BMD)on Postmenopausal Osteoporosis(PMOP)patients' Kidney deficiency syndrome and Blood stasis syndrome. Methods:Register the patient' s informations such as name, age, weight,BMD ofwhole body, lumbar, neck of femur, trochanter and Ward's region, biochemical indicator such as calcium, phosphorus, alkaline phosphatase, total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),high density lipoprotein(HDL-C),low density lipoprotein(LDL-C).Then statistic by SPSS 13.0.Results:We collected 168 patient' s,the percentage of Kidney deficiency syndrome is 62.5 and the Blood stasis syndrome is 37.5.The results show that, with the increase of age,BMD tends to decrease.BMD of group of≤60yaers is higher than group of 61-70 years remarkablely.Kidney deficiency and Blood stasis syndrome are main reasons of TCM theory in PMOP.There was a relationship between two syndromes in BMD.BMD of Blood stasis syndrome is lower than Kidney deficiency syndrome, but the biochemical indicators have no connection with this two syndromes.Meanwhile,TC and LDL-C in Blood stasis syndrome is remarkablely higher than in Kidney deficiency syndrome, while TG and HDL-C and the similar.Conclusion:(1)Older is dangerous factor in PMOP' s women;(2)The differentiation of BMD of the two syndromes suggests that,Blood stasis syndrome is the evolution of Kidney deficiency syndrome.Lumber BMD drops the most, itmaybe relative to pysio-position,change of bone mass and microstructure, dicrease of sex hormone,ect;(3)For the therapy,it' s useful to add stasis-resolving drugs into Formulae that Tonify the Kidney,in order to reduce the loss of BMD.
