Objective:After analyzing data of questionnaires for some experts of nursingeducation, nursing academic, nurse clinician(including Head of NursingDepartment, charge nurse, Senior nurse), trained nurse and student nurse, thisresearch is trying to assess the former reform of setup of integratedtraditional Chinese and western nursing baccalaureate curriculum in NanjingUniversity of Chinese Medicine. At the same time, this research attempt todiscover the needs and some suggestions about nursing baccalaureate coursessetup, and to set the evidence for the advanced curriculum reform of Collegeof Nursing.Method: Some experts of nursing education of University of Chinese Medicine,nursing academic of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine and other nursingcollege of Chinese Medicine, nurse clinician, trained nurse and student nursewere investigated by filling out self-designed questionnaire. All callbackdata from questionnaire were coded and than recorded into computer.Statistical analysis was conducted by SPSS 11.5 software package and Excel.The contents of investigation included in evaluation of comprehensivediathesis and ability of college nursing students of Nanjing University ofChinese Medicine, evaluation of the effectiveness of actual reform of collegenursing curriculum setup in College of Nursing, and evaluation and proposalsin the aspects of curriculum structure, curriculum time arrangement, necessarycourse, import course, proportion of course and load of learning.Results: 1. The results of this survey imply that former reform of nursingBaccalaureate curriculum setup is feasible and efficient in our school.2. Current course is not perfect so that a shift in the curriculum setupis required.
