Treatment Of Distal Humerus Fracture By Internal Fixation With Dual-plate(DP)

Objective:By analysis the data on the distal humerul fractures managed in our hospital in recent five years.To summarize the experience of dual-plate(DP)treatment on the fractures.Method:We retrospective reviewed 19 patients with intra-articulr fractures of the distal humerus in the past 5 years.By the classification of AO/ASIF,8 were classified as C1 type,5 as C2 type,and 6 as C3 type.Collect the data and then to analyse.To evaluate the patients' elbow joint function after operation according to the Money's evaluation standard.Results:Of the 19 patients,according to Morrey's evaluation standard:Excellent and good results were achieved in 17 cases(89.5%).No complications such as myositis ossifican,nonunion.Conclusion:The main method for this fractures is osteosynthesis,with dual-plate(DP),fixed with dual-plate(DP)is rigid as well as reliable.And it is a good way to manage the fractures of distal humerus.
