Research On The Current Fluxional Situation Of Talents In Medical College

BackgroundThe higher education plays a key role in the rising of national quality and accelerating social development. Higher medical education is the significant component of higher education. The development of a medical university with teaching, scientific research and medical treatment, not only need best teaching installation, but also need a high quality and steady team of talents.The place where talents gathered has quicker development both in scientific technology and economic. Rational fluxion of talents makes the construction of medical stuff rational. In the past 10 years, government and colleges paid attention on illegitimate fluxion of talents and make policy to control it.At present, there are some studies on talents fluxional situation in colleges running by the local people, also there are studies on talents fluxional situation of other disciplines. But there are few systematic researches on talents fluxional situation in medical colleges.ObjectivesThis research is based on data of four medical colleges in the central and northern part of China, and study on other results of internal and overseas researches. It will help us not only knowing talents fluxional situation in medical colleges, but also investigating the deep reasons of talents drainage and giving suggestions on its countermeasure and constituting a top-grade team of talents.Material and MethodFrom January of 2006 to March of 2007, seek literatures of talents fluxional situation in medical college from Internet and books in library. From March to December in 2006, we went to four medical colleges to do research. The questionnaires are filled by the supervisor of personnel, some parts were got back at once, some parts were mailed back. We also had a talk with the supervisor and got some material. At last, we have complete data questionnaires from 3 colleges, one college's material is not complete.The questionnaires were numbered and the data were input, analyzed by Microsoft Excel-2003.Result and AnalysisThe result shows that the increase number of college student makes the number of stuff increase. But, the constitution of stuff is not suitable, such as age, educational background and professional title. There are wide gaps between present situation an development aim of higher medical education. At the same time, illegitimate fluxion of talents turns to the result that some colleges' talents drained. The main reason is that government lags of law, stuff's unsatisfying with income and research condition. Government and colleges are making policy to control it.ConclusionMedical Colleges still lack of the support of law and economy from the government. The government should control the number of students in medical colleges, give more economic support on the development of medical colleges, build a center for higher educational talents' fluxion, and make law to control illegitimate fluxion of talents. Medical Colleges should change the view of personnel management, save talents by different means.
