Objective: Epidemiological investigations Import revealed the widespread of functional dyspepsia. Some even have a serious impact on the quality of the patients' life, Western medicine of this disease is still mainly on symptomatic treatment, and some patients still have poor results, so to explore a TCM differential treatment has practical significance.This study compared the treatment of pure Chinese medicine with the treatment of point burying-line therapy of clinicai TCM Syndrome on Functional Dyspepsia in the efficacy, in order to explore point embedding therapy can enhance the effectiveness of Chinese medicine.Methods: According to the Diagnostic criteria,Inclusion criteria and Exclusion criteria, there are 55 cases can be absorbed into the study. The patients suffered from FD were randomly divided into treatment group(acupoint catgut embedding therapy and Chinese medicine, 26 cases) and control group(pure Chinese medicine group, 29 cases). The patients of TCM Syndrome type of functional dyspepsia completing the clinical observation schedule and appraising the clinical curative effect of the hours before treatment, after treatment, follow-up three months. The results will be inputed and analyzed using SPSS11.5.Results: Among the 26 cases in treatment group, 5 cases were cured of the disease; 11 cases had marked therapeutic effect: 9 cases had certain improvement, and 1 cases didn't respond to the treatment. The effective rate was 96.15%; Among the 29 cases in control group, 2 cases were cured of the disease; 8 cases had marked therapeutic effect; 16 cases had certain improvement, and 3 cases didn't respond to the treatment. The effective rate was 89.66%. There was significant difference between the two groups (P=0.0345<0.05). After treatment, there is markedly significant difference between the treatment group and the control group in ruducing consumption,gastralgia,distension of the epigastriom, which outbreak after eating food,feeling of the throat obstuction,often fleeing saturated. The treatment group made batter effect (P<0.05). In the 3 follow-up months, the data of the two groups has a significant differences in ruducing consumption, distension of the epigastriom, which outbreak after eating food, often fleeing saturated. The treatment group made batter effect (P<0.05).Conclusion: Both Chinese medicine therapy accompany with acupoint catgut embedding therapy and simple Chinese medicine therapy have curative effect to Functional dyspepsia. But Chinese medicine therapy accompany with acupoint catgut embedding therapy is superior to simple Chinese medicine therapy.
